Sion, by the way, will also fail because they need at least 110 million euro AFTER securing about 100 million euro from super risky deposits, AND they’ll lose money on all 3,500 first deliveries because they are selling them discounted. They intend to show the deposits as a signal to capital markets in order to increase the stock price, so that they can borrow against it, which would backfire because any investor would know that their intentions are to DEEPLY dilute the shares again to survive. Their failure is a certainty, and if they are able to get 3,500 full deposits which is basically impossible, it would likely force them to liquidate the entire company because they’d have some obligation to pay back their customers who made “nonrefundable” deposits, after having already used the money to pay for some tooling.
