It is important to be aware of your ENERGY CONSUMPTION when driving an electric vehicle as it has a direct impact on the range.
You can monitor ENERGY CONSUMPTION via the instrument cluster as well as EV MODE on the infotainment system screen.
On the Instrument cluster, AVERAGE ENERGY CONSUMPTION is displayed at the bottom of the screen. It’s calculated by the total driving distance and the high voltage battery consumption since the last reset.
To manually reset THE AVERAGE ENERGY CONSUMPTION, press and hold the MODE button on the Steering Wheel while the LCD is displaying Accumulated Info or After Recharging.
AVERAGE ENERGY COMSUMPTION resets automatically after the vehicle has been off for four hours…
Or after recharging the battery more than ten percent.
While driving, INSTANT ENERGY CONSUMPTION is also displayed by a bar graph in the LCD .
From the infotainment system screen, you can access certain EV information by pressing the EV button.
Now you will see an image that allows you to check energy consumption.
You can view:
BATTERY, which shows the momentary power and energy consumption…
Select to view more detailed information including:
Battery Status…
Electricity Use…
And EV Economy History…

The adjusted range is displayed when Power and energy consumption increases when operating the Climate Control system.

And EV Charge Transfer Settings.
By monitoring these inputs, you can see what’s consuming energy and what’s affecting the overall driving range. For example, if the air conditioner is using a lot of energy, you may wish to turn it off to help increase your range.
Moving back to the Instrument Cluster, the POWER/CHARGE GAUGE shows the instant energy consumption rate as well as the charging level of the regenerative braking.
POWER displays the instant energy consumption rate when accelerating or driving up a hill – the more energy used, the higher the level displayed.
CHARGE shows the level of regenerative braking when decelerating or going downhill.
If LOW EV BATTERY warning is illuminated, that means the charge level is ten percent or less indicating you should charge the battery.
If the CHARGE IMMEDIATELY, POWER LIMITED light is illuminated, that means there is five percent or less battery power remaining, and you should charge the battery immediately. In addition, vehicle power will be reduced to minimize energy consumption.
