Today’s drag race is a special one. First, we have the 2021 Tesla Model S Plaid. Sporting a 0-60 time of 2.3 seconds at our test track, the Model S Plaid is the fastest Tesla money can buy. And second, we have a special guest driver to join us on the track. Chris Moore is motorcycle drag racer and tuner, and he’s brought a 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa and 2021 Kawasaki ZX-14R to race against the Plaid. It’s the first time we have had the privilege to race a motorcycle on our test track, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. With the Plaid S outputting 1,020 horsepower, we needed something a little different to go up against it. Does the fastest Tesla have what it takes to keep up with Chris and his bike? We can’t wait to find out! This is our electric car vs. motorcycle drag race of the Tesla Model S Plaid and the Suzuki Hayabusa.
