Ford is in the news this week after cutting prices on their F-150 Lighting trucks. A recent report showed that the American manufacturer sold only 4,466 of the EV trucks in the 2nd quarter of 2023, while Tesla sold 466K cars in that same amount of time. Meanwhile, new vehicle inventories are up to 1.95 million, meaning that the overall average day supply is 53.
