GM and every other automaker have been forced to transition their entire product line to electric, a hard deadline. After over 100 years in operation, the need to change EVERYTHING. As if that wasn’t challenging enough, they must deliver cutting-edge battery technology and have an expectation to solve self-driving.
Mary Barra and her team have had enough. With the automotive industry transitioning to electric vehicles, this news may be seen as a setback for GM.
