A few weeks ago, we chatted to Peter Rawlinson, CEO of Lucid Motors, about his time in the automotive industry, his experiences working on electric vehicles, and his hopes for the upcoming Lucid Air EV.

Today, we’re repeating that format with Jeremy Short, Vehicle Chief Engineer of Battery Electric Vehicles at General Motors.

Jeremy has been working on the Chevrolet Bolt EV for some time, and talks to us about his experiences prior to working on the Bolt EV, explains how a new electric vehicle is developed and tested, chats about the Bolt EV’s battery pack, and shares some of his surprises after several years working on Chevrolet’s long-range EV.
