Shortly after California’s Governor Gavin Newsom “proudly spruiked” the state would become the first to ban new petrol-car sales by 2035, his government was forced to issue a warning to EV owners, Sky News host Rita Panahi says.
Ms Panahi said owners of EVs were told “not to charge their cars due to pressure on the electricity grid during a heat wave”.
