Even though crossovers seem to be the body style of choice for new car buyers, wagons are still pretty popular in Europe. So we’re pretty sure the sleek Zeekr 007 GT shooting brake will have no trouble finding fans. It’s set to debut in Europe in the second quarter of 2025, and while it could sell on looks alone, its range and charging performance put it at the top of its class.
The name will change for Europe, where it will be known as the Zeekr 7GT and likely be sold alongside the 007 sedan. We assume the company couldn’t get the trademark on the “007” name, thanks to a certain British spy. From the front, the two body styles look identical, but from the side, the 7GT’s longer roof sets it apart from the sedan, and the slanted, fastback-style rear glass keeps it looking sporty.
The 007 was the first Zeekr vehicle to move away from the now familiar Lynk&Co design language, and it’s a sportier-looking vehicle. It’s still a pretty understated design, almost devoid of superfluous details—like a smaller Lucid Air from China. However, you can get it with real carbon fiber trim running across its front fascia and onto its front fenders for some extra wow factor.

Zeekr
Zeekr gave the 7GT a floating roof design with a blacked-out part on the C-pillar that makes the roof appear as if it’s disconnected from the rest of the body. There are also aero elements on the top of the hatch, and a small Gurney-flap-like spoiler on the edge of the trunk lid for added visual interest. It also looks like it works in conjunction with the upper aero element to push the rear of the car down at speed.
This is definitely a looker, with a sleeker and sportier appearance than its main European rival, the Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer. It could also take buyers away from the more expensive Audi A6 E-Tron Avant. Interestingly, in the official photos provided by Zeekr, the 7GT is placed in distinctly European-looking scenes, making the manufacturer’s intentions to sell it on the continent clear.
Like the rest of the Zeekr lineup, the 7GT is built on the Geely Sustainable Electric Architecture (SEA), which makes this an 800-volt EV. Combine this high-voltage electrical architecture with the new Golden Battery, and you get a peak DC fast charging speed of 500 kilowatts, which can add 311 miles (500 km) of range in just 15 minutes. Zeekr says it’s the quickest charging battery in the world, going from 10 to 80% in under 11 minutes.
The Golden Battery is the world’s first 800-volt battery with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry and was designed in-house by Geely for Zeekr. It boasts a higher volume utilization rate (i.e., the proportion of the physical volume of the battery pack occupied by the active battery cells) than batteries from other companies, including CATL.
The 007 sedan has either a single-motor rear-wheel-drive powertrain with 416 horsepower or a dual-motor setup with 637 hp. The wagon will likely have the same options with identical power outputs. Two battery packs are offered in China: 75.6 kWh and 100 kWh, with the latter offering up to 540 miles (870 km) of range on the Chinese test cycle, which tends to be optimistic.
The larger Zeekr 001 (the company’s first shooting brake model) with the 100 kWh battery is already available in Europe. It has a starting price in Germany of €59,900 or $62,400 and a WLTP range rating of 385 miles (620 km). In China, the Zeekr 007 sedan costs just under $30,000, and pricing for the wagon hasn’t been announced. Tariffs and markup will push its price up considerably when it goes on sale in Europe.
