The companies will use Tata Power’s experience in setting up and managing an expansive EV charging infrastructure to provide Tivolt’s growing network of small electric commercial vehicles with accessible charging at dealerships, customer locations and high-traffic public spaces.

Tata Power has previously partnered with other OEMs to provide more than 200 customized EV charging stations to customers in over 100 cities, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune and Kochi. The company will also explore installing solar energy systems to power charging stations at Tivolt dealerships and customer locations to reduce charging costs.

Tata Power has expanded its network under the brand EZ Charge to more than 100,000 home chargers, 6,500 public, semi-public, and fleet charging points, and 1,100 bus charging stations across 530 cities and towns.

“This strategic partnership will accelerate the development of EV charging infrastructure, a step towards empowering the EV ecosystem for e-trucks with robust, accessible charging solutions, ensuring that clean and sustainable mobility becomes a reality for our customers,” said Saju Nair, CEO, Tivolt Electric Vehicles.
