This is millions of EVs that will not be built, at a cost of billions to the car industry. It’s all because they’ve been pandering to governments, as opposed to listening to customers. Most buyers do not want electric cars – they’re too expensive, the charging infrastructure is horrendous, the range isn’t there for long trips, the insurance cost and repair cost is outragous, and the depreciation is eye-watering.
