The new electric Hummers are the ultimate in conspicuous electric consumption. They are epic, insane, fantastic, stupid, and so much more all at the same time. This is the EV that nobody needs, but secretly a decent share of EV and ICE buyers want, and that’s kind of the point. If you want to save the planet and reduce your emissions and consumption, buy a small battery EV. The Hummer’s mission is to convince that guy we all know that’s rolling coal to try swapping into a bonkers-crazy Hummer SUV or truck instead.
