VinFast launches 5 new EVs as part of global expansion.
At the Consumer Electronics Show last week, Vietnamese automaker Vinfast debuted a line up of 5 new full batter-electric vehicles that will the vehicles that launch their future as an all EV automaker.
Vinfast will launch with 2 EVs, the VF8 and VF9 in 2022 and will initially begin selling in the United States, Canada, France, Germany, The Netherlands and Vietnam. In North America, Vinfast has committed to selling all but the compact EF5 at this point. The VF6 and VF7 will likely arrive in 2023 through a network of company owned retail outlets.
This video provides an overview of their models and the programs that they will launch with. It is based on information revealed at CES, the Los Angeles Auto Show last November and from Vinfast themselves.
