VW relies on common sense and sure-fire quality to sell its cars, but is that enough when it comes to the brave new world of EVs? The ID4 is VW’s electric crossover, sharing its base with the Audi Q4 e-tron and Skoda Enyaq but priced to rival the Tesla Model Y, Ford Mustang Mach-E and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
