In this video I drive the new 2026 Tesla Model S Plaid to decide if I want to buy a new one. Tesla has updated the Model S and Model X for the 2026 model year with some minor changes. The updated Model S Plaid is definitely improved over my old 2021 Model S Plaid, but similar to Model X, there’s just not enough changes to justify buying a new one. Also from the time I filmed this video, the price went up $10,000 as Tesla now includes the “Luxe package”
