Shares of Blink Charging Co. on Wednesday climbed after the company reached a collaborative agreement with the sustainable transport mobility app Citybest to provide electric vehicle charging stations in Mexico and Chile.
At 13:50 E.T., shares were up 5.2% at $99.59.
As part of the agreement, the provider of networked electric vehicle charging equipment would install 50 MQ 200 chargers at hotel chains in Mexico, as well as 20 recently launched EQ 200 chargers in Chile.
The installation, which is set to begin this month, will be followed by the deployment of additional chargers in Colombia beginning March, the company added.
The app Citybest, which connects passengers with sustainable taxis, drivers and ride sharing services, was founded in Chile in 2019.
