Ricardo to assist Toyota develop a hydrogen gas cell mild business car for the UK
Automotive provider Ricardo is working alongside Toyota and the Superior Propulsion Centre (APC) to develop a hydrogen-powered mild business car and to construct a prototype within the UK.
The Toyota Hilux hydrogen variant might be manufactured and assembled at Toyota’s Derby-based facility and is scheduled for prototype manufacturing in 2023. Toyota selected Ricardo as a consequence of its experience in hydrogen gas cell integration, together with for a UK hydrogen transport hub.
