I have been vocal about being an advocate of LFP, or iron based batteries, as they made such economic sense, but now it would seem that Elon is also being more vocal about them too. With current battery technologies and scalability, LFP is definitely the direction to go for the vast majority of EVs. The range they are able to obtain these days, is sufficient for almost everyone, particularly when the charging network improves further.
Iron is the future.
