Subaru CEO just shocked the entire EV industry, making it clear that EVs are not popular among customers, especially in the US. He believes that embracing electric vehicles and banning gas-powered cars is not the answer and has been fired by Subaru because of it. After pressure from Toyota, Subaru followed in Toyota’s footsteps and now appointed a new CEO to start pushing EVs more heavily but he will be faced with a car market where most buyers do not want to go electric.
