Elon Musk tweeted that Tesla Semi completed its first 500-mile trip with a full load.
The electric battery powered class 8 truck carried 81,000 lbs during that haul!
This was obviously quite the feat for a battery-electric truck.
Tesla Semi is an all-electric class 8 commercial truck that Tesla first unveiled in 2017.
And yes, it was supposed to be in production in 2019.
But several delays and three years later, we are about to see it being delivered for the first time to Pepsi Co.
